    Beroep:
    In 1769 wordt er in Laag Keppel een herberg gebouwd. Op 1 mei 1799 wordt Gerrit Kets pachter van herberg de Gouden Leeuw. Er zouden nog veel nakomelingen zijn voorbeeld volgen. In de vroege jaren van 1900 werd het zelfs hotel Kets genoemd. Later werd het weer De Gouden Leeuw genoemd.
